Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care: Seeks to foster a happy school community within a caring supportive environment where each individual student is cared for and encouraged to develop to their full potential. Our school climate encourages Respect,

Tolerance, Caring, Trust and Support and there is zero tolerance to bullying.

Structures are in place to provide the best care for each student.
• Each class has a Form Teacher, who delivers a social, personal, and health education (SPHE) programme;
• A Year Head monitors each student’s progress and retains student records, liaising with teachers, the

pastoral care team, and parents, especially in relation to disciplinary and pastoral care matters  
• Every student has direct access to the Pastoral Care Team including the Pastoral Care Co-ordinator, Home

School Community Liaison Teacher (HSCL), the Guidance Counsellor and School Chaplain.
